Spring Show 2013
Gospel Jubilee

The East Texas Men In Harmony
presented its Spring Show at Grace
Community School in Tyler Texas.
Our guest Quartet was "Sterling"
the current reigning South Western
District quartet champions.
Together we presented many
traditional and Gospel songs,
which were obvious crowd-pleasers
for the (mostly) sold-out house.
A great time was had by all.

ETMIH Christmas Show 2012

Lake Country Playhouse Show - August 2012

The East Texas Men In Harmony performed at the Select Theater on August 23rd, 2012. The event was sponsored by the Lake Country Playhouse group, and has become an annual tradition for the ETMIH. This year's show was titled "Barbershop Ballads from Berlin to the Beatles," and in addition to our Southeast Division Champion chorus, we featured four of our own District Finalist quartets. The show was enthusiastically received by the packed house.

Select Theatre

The 80 year-old Select Theatre is the oldest continuous operating theatre in the state of Texas, and offers first run films on weekends. This theater was owned and operated by R. T. Hooks family for many years until 1986 when the Lake Country Playhouse assumed the operation. The theater is known locally for its neon tower with revolving base which is visible for miles. The Lake Country Playhouse, an award-winning live-drama group, headquartering at the Select, offers live productions at least 12 weekends a year.

ETMIH Ties to the Select Theater

Before the ETMIH was oficially formed, some of the current chorus members recall meeting as a small group at the theater to sing tags and songs. You might say that the chorus got its start at this historic Texas landmark.
