Our Invitation to You

Our chapter and chorus are open to all men of good character who like to sing. We are looking for people who have an ear for music and desire to improve their singing skills. We hold craft sessions at our weekly rehearsals and periodically hold music clinics to increase our ability to sing as a cohesive unit.

An audition will ensure that you are placed in the right section to suit your voice range. Additionally, it serves to draw attention to your particular coaching needs for the Director, Coach and Section Leaders to work with you. We memorize the music for public performance and work to present a pleasing visual package with expressive faces, choreographed and the constant striving to improve our expanded sound.

In addition to performing in the East Texas area, we participate in two contests: one held each spring in the eastern Texas and Louisiana division and another in the fall in the five-state Southwestern District Contest. There is both a chorus and a quartet contest at each convention. The qualifying quartets in the spring and the winning chorus in the fall represent the District in the International Contest the following July.
